The scenery of the Stanislaus River is outstanding... featuring intricate and mysterious volcanic formations.The class 2 rapids on this section of the Stanislaus River make a fun and refreshing day which is great for large groups and families. Beyond Limits Adventures has been running trips here since 1982 and we offer many different raft options, depending on your group size. Knights Ferry, our meeting place for Stanislaus River trips, is only a 2 hour drive from most points in the San Francisco Bay Area. Join us for a rafting adventure that is truly a California Classic! Trips meet at 10 AM.
Stanislaus River Rafting Trips
	Stanislaus River - Self Guided Trip Our Lower Stanislaus trips are the only summer time rafting trips offered on the Main Stanislaus River which is the closest rafting river to the San Francisco Bay Area. These self guided class 2 trips are a fun way to experience this easy and scenic section of river. Trips meet at 10:00 AM on weekdays and 9:00 AM to 10:00AM on weekends. ***Please note: If you book online for 4 or more persons you will have a raft(s) with just your group in it. If you pay for 3 or fewer you will be joining others in a raft. You may reserve a raft with fewer than 4 persons by paying online for least 4 adults.

Dear Owner/Manager,

After having had such a great time on the Yuba River on Thursday, June 29th, I felt it was necessary to write a letter expressing my appreciation. First, John, our river guide, gave us a very thorough safety talk, had all of the gear ready for us, was very timely, and I never felt like he was thinking, “Oh, this is just another river trip.” We felt like we were special. Thanks for letting him take the Red Suburban. That was extra cool. Second, his knowledge of the river was awesome and his technical abilities superb and he also was familiar with the local animal life as he pointed out a Merganser. We always felt very safe with him and we knew what to do and what not to do should we fall out of the boat. Third, John is very mature for his age and comes across as a swell guy. I did not have it together at his age like he has it together. We were impressed with the kindness showed by many of the people we ran into up in the mountains, especially John’s. I would like to recommend him for employee of the month should such a program be in place and we will definitely be requesting him should we come up again next year to run the Plum.
